Private Oswald Fletcher

Private Fletcher of Barnsley Rd, Wombwell, for some time has been suffering from wounds received in action and septic poisoning.

Private Fletcher has seen some heavy fighting whilst in France. He was attached to the R.A.M.C. staff and was carried in wounded when he was hit himself.

Previous to his misadventure he was awarded certificates for massage work. He was sent to hospital for a few weeks as assistant masseur.

After been discharged from hospital in England he was sent to the NCD Ripon, when he was in a convalescent camp for a few weeks.

He is now at Clipstone Camp, Mansfield, Notts.

Private Fletcher is unable to carry out his duties with R.A.M.C. owing to ill health.
