Ready for the Huns

Gunner J. Cartwright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright, of Station Road, has been in the “Terriers” for nine years, and is at present an anti- aircraft gunner “somewhere in Yorkshire.”

Gunner Cartwright is hale and hearty, and is looking forward to giving any foreign intruders a very hot reception.

He is an old Wombwellian, starting his school days there and migrating to Bolton School when his father moved to the district.
