Soldier – Bock Lt. – Distinguised Conduct Medal

Lieutenant Bock, of Wombwell, was presented with the Distinguised Conduct Medal awarded him for bravery on the battlefield.

Lieutenant- Colonel Hewitt said that Lieutenant Beck was an old Territorial who rejoined the Army in the early months of the war, and he had recently been given a commission.

The Mayor (Alderman H. Holden), in making the presentation, congratulated Lieutenant Bock oil his bravery, and wished him the best of luck
