Mexborough & Swinton Times – Saturday 25 January 1941

A regular reader of the ” South Yorkshire Times” who is stationed down South and gets a copy every week, is Sapper Frank Bibby who is well-known in the Brampton Bierlow district.

On Christmas Day he was married to Miss Bessie Larter, of Brampton.

Frank attended Brampton Ellis Senior School and before joining the Forces in July, 1939, worked on the railway at Mexborough and Doncaster. He was in the evacuation from Dunkirk.
