Mexborough and Swinton Times November 2, 1918

Pte. Willie Bell, aged 22, of Hemmingfield, landed in France on September 21st and was  mortally wounded on October 18.

He died the same day and was buried in a British Cemetery at Roisel.

He was formerly employed at the Wombwell Main Colliery
