Sheffield Inspectors Post for East Africa
Mr John Brook, a young district sanitary inspector, who for the past two or three years has been on the staff of the Sheffield Corporation, will be among the passengers to embark today for the Kenya Protectorate, East Africa.
He has secured a three year’s appointment as sanitary inspector to the Mombasa municipality.
Mr Brook is a son of Mr John Brook of Park Street who worked and played for Wombwell Main and Mitchell Main cricket clubs.
He is a sidesman of Wombwell Parish Church and a member of the Wombwell Parochial Church Council.
