Ronald Symcox (21), son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Symcox, of 16, Stubbs Road. Wombwell, is now serving in the Royal Navy, which he joined two months ago.

He likes the life and Is In good spirits.

Prior to enlisting he worked at the brickworks at Wombwell Main Colliery.

His brother Frank is serving in the Royal Engineers in the Middle East.
