Two photographs taken at the funeral of Roy Kilner, the famous cricketer, at Wombwell, on Tuesday.

The upper photograph shows some of Kilner’s colleagues, past and present. of the Yorkshire county cricket team, bearing the coffin to the grave. Front (left to right): Emott Robinson, George Hirst and Maurice Leyland, with Herbert Sutcliffe immediately behind Leyland, and Percy Holmes immediately behind Robinson, Wilfred Rhodes behind Holmes, and Arthur Dolphin on the extreme left.

In the lower photograph is shown the immense crowd near the Parish Church awaiting the arrival of the cortege.
