“Prince” – Saved Children from Drowning on three Seperate Occasions

The circumstances under which “Prince,” a dog owned by Mr John Timms, Tunstall Cross, Park Street, Wombwell, saved the eight year old child of Mrs Haines from drowning in the canal at Wombwell Junction has been brought to the notice of the Council with a view to the dog been awarded some suitable distinction.

“Prince” is not a dog of high degree, but according to Councillor Belshaw he has rescued children from drowning on three separate occasions.

“Princes’s” cases is to be put before the Royal Canine Society
