“Plough boy” of 73

Mr. Henry Brackenbury, of Beech House Road, Hemingfield, Wombwell, who will be 73 shortly, can be seen any day behind a team of horses on the farm of Mr. Fred Wood.

It is his proud boast that he can reap and mow and plough and sow with the youngest of them.

He rises at 6 every morning and is at work at the farm at 7.
