Mills, who was playing centre for Notts, actually scored the first five goals for his side, and, when Connell had ventured to break the sequent-© and score the sixth, he must needs claim the seventh bring his individual bag to half-a-doion.

Mills had got his ” hat trick” before Bradford scored the only goal for Wombwell, and Notts led by 4—1 at the cross over.
