Ladies and gentlemen, no doubt you are aware I am a candidate for the seat rendered vacant by the death of the late CH Elliott, Esq.

I offer you my services as an Independent Labour candidate and the only promise I make is that I will do my best for the township generally, and for the South East ward in particular.
