Nelson League
Broomhill 2 Park Hill 3
Charlie Allen played a big part in Park Hill’s great victory last week end at Broomhill. He did the “hat trick.”
He has played for Park Hill one season. Last year he assisted Larne in the Irish League and previously played with Preston and Barnsley in the Second Division. He is a centre-forward and has scored 18 goals in the last five matches.
Park Hill’s victory at Broomhill was a remarkably fine performance. Broomhill scored first through Ross but before half-time Allen got a couple.
After the interval Allen put Park Hill further ahead and then Lawson handled and Gittins converted the penalty for Broomhill to reduce the lead.
Sanders, Hawkins and Wright played well for the winners, while Gittins and Ross were Broomhill’s best.
