Musical Director for Season

Patrons of dancing at the Wombwell baths will be pleased to know that Mr. Tom Dransfield has been appointed musical director for the season and his band will be present at all dances under the jurisdiction of the council.

Mr. Dransfield was musical director last season when there was a very considerable increase in the number of dancers.

A native of Wombwell, he is a brother of Mr. Norman Dransfield, the violinist, and is one of Wombwell’s leading musicians. Mr. Joss Bentley has been appointed M.C.
