Mrs. Hilda Powell, wife Mr. Harold Powell, Stubbs Road, Wombwell a miner at Darfleld Main, has won £2,056 for 5s. 3d. in a football pool.

She has been Interested in pools for two years.

In her forecasting Mrs. Powell has been helped by her son Douglas (25), and she intends to send him and his young Scottish wife to Glasgow for week’s holiday.
