A Senior-Evans Partnership.
Mitchell Main brought off a smart performance on Saturday to win by 14 runs at Elsecar. They were mainly indebted to “Young Jim” Senior and Evans (picture) , whose partnership of 54 for the second wicket saved their innings from the appearance of a procession. D. Kilner took 3 wickets for 11 runs, but the best bowling feat of the day was that of Wilkinson for Elsecar: 5 for 24.
