Miss Jessie Kilner, fourth daughter of Mrs. Kilner, of “Dore Deane,” Huddersfield Road,  Redbrook, Barnsley, and the late Mr. Seth Kilner, who sailed for India on Saturday for her marriage to Mr. William Swift Washington, elder son of Mrs. Washington, of “The Limes,” Barnsley Road, Wombwell, and the late Mr. Irving Washington.

Miss Kilner, who is a cousin of Mr. Mr. W. S. Washington, is the sister of the late Roy Kilner, famous England and Yorkshire cricketer, and also of Norman Kilner, the Warwickshire County player.

Mr. Washington is an official at a large chemical and engineering works in Northern India.
