May Queen Elect

Her hair is not curly but she is demure and pretty. This is little seven-years-old Aileen. Hopkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hopkins, 6 Queen Street, Wombwell. Aileen is the May Queen elect of St. Michael’s R.C. Schools, Stonyford Road, Wombwell, and will be the central figure in the pageantry to be held in connection with St. Michael’s on Sunday, ‘May 8th.
