Many Juvenile Offenders.

“Dinky Snatching ” Practice at Wombwell.

An epidemic of juvenile offences occupied the attention of the West Riding Justices, at Barnsley, yesterday.

The cases came from Kexboro’, Deepcar, Wombwell and Havercroft, and all the accused lads were placed on probation.

When a Wombwell schoolboy was charged with stealing a handkerchief, it was said that “dinky snatching ” had become a practice by some boys at that village.
