Wombwell were well beaten on the general run of play.

The forwards were lively enough, bhut shot very badly in front of the goal, and several open goalts were missed.

The defence bad lot of work in keeping the Loughborough forwards in check A. Smith played well in goal, and Turner played an excellent game at outside right
