Lincoln City Reserve 2 Wombwell 2
Lincoln City Reserve were only able to effect a draw of 2-2 with Wombwell on the Sincil Bank.
The home team, who had had the wind in their favour, led at the interval by 1-0, but in the second half ‘Wombwell showed considerable improvement, their forwards displaying good combination.
In that period the visitors put, on two goals, one from a penalty, and they were leading for about 15 minutes, when Lincoln equalised from a Penalty. Johnson distinguished himself in the Wombwell goal.
Ayre and Ludkin scored for Lincoln, and Kay and Clarke for the visitors.
