Sanderson

Members of Hemingfield W.M.C. were bearers at the funeral at Jump and Hemingfield Cemetery on Friday Mr. Percy Sanderson (40), 15, Coronation Terrace, Hemingfield, who was killed at his work at Elsecar Main Colliery the previous Monday.

At the Inquest a verdict of ” Misadventure ” was recorded.”

Mr. Sanderson had worked at Elsecar Main for 22 years. He leaves a widow and two daughters.
