Junior Football – Guide Post to be Revived

With a big part of the cricket season gone, junior footballers are busy making preparations for next season. The Guide Post football club is to be revived and will run a team in the Nelson League. Mr. A. Wright (picture), who is well-known in football circles, has been made secretary.  Plenty of players are available.

The club will use the Welfare ground at New Wombwell.  The return of Guide Post is sure to awaken interest among former supporters.

New Guinea is already preparing and there is talk of re-forming Pearson Field and Alma O.B.  By the way, Woods Brothers have decided to form a football club and will join the Nelson League.
