Impressive Demonstration At Wombwell

Wombwell resounded to the tramp of marching boys and youths on Saturday day afternoon, when for the first time the Sheffield Regiment of the Church Lads’ Brigade held its annual parade in the town.

About 700 members, representing companies in, the Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield areas took part in the parade. Interest taken in the “invasion ” was evidenced by the large crowds assembled at various points along the route.
