Mexborough and Swinton Times, January 8, 1937
The interesting and informative article on “Russia” written by Mr Frank Collindridge, of Wombwell, and published in the “South Yorkshire Times” just before Christmas as aroused such wide interest that from Mr Collindridge’s standpoint the effect is becoming just a little embarrassing.
It would appear from what he told me in conversation at the Baths Hall, the other evening, that every organisation in Yorkshire is after him for a talk in Russia. They have read the “Times” article and want to know more about it.
Some of them have sent him an open calendar and asked him to fill in his own date. I’m sure he will do his best to oblige everybody, but they must remember that he has his limitation.
