Four Generations!

In the picture are four generations of a Wombwell family. Mrs. Goldthorpe (71), 15 Burley Place, Wombwell; her daughter, Mrs. Alice Dyer, 29 Cemetery Road, Hemingfield; Mrs. Dyer’s son, Harry, Bartholomew Street, Wombwell; and Mr. Harry Dyer’s daughter, Jean, aged 16 months.

Mrs. Goldthorpe is a native of Devon but the family have lived in Wombwell over fifty years.
