Found His Father Dead

Thomas Eastwood (65), Forester, Martin Lane, Blacker Hill, has been found dead in Wombwell Wood. He had been working near a fire he had made, and the body was found beside it by his son late at night.

Police had to penetrate the woods about 200 yards through deep snow to recover the body.
