Engagement Announcement

Wombwell district residents will be interested to hear of the announcement of the engagement and Mr Francis Hugo Wood, younger son of the late Mr Frank Wood and Mrs Wood, of Dodworth Grange near Barnsley, and Miss Elizabeth Tatum Stevenson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest a Stephenson of Manchester and Southend-on-Sea.

Mr Hugo Wood is a member of the well-known firm of Wood Bros Glass Co Ltd, Barnsley and Wombwell, and Miss Stevenson’s father is managing the director of AC Stephenson Ltd hotel furnishers.
