Death from Fall of Dirt

Charles Henry Farrell (29), a colliery labourer, who lived in George Street. Wombwell, died in the Beckett Hospital, Barnsley, after having been treated since September 22 for a fractured spine, which he sustained at Wombwell Main through a fall of dirt.
