Critical Condition of Eight Year Old

Beatrice Hunsley, the eight-year-old daughter of Joseph Hunsley, miner, 65, Blythe Street, Wombwell, is lying in a critical condition in the Beckett Hospital, Barnsley.

This is as a result of scalds sustained through falling over the fireguard in her mother’s absence and knocking over a pan of boiling water.
