Cortonwood’s Monument.
A monument was unveiled at the Cortonwood Colliery on Saturday in honour of the memory men who formerly worked at the Cortonwood Colliery, and who died for their country during the war, and in appreciation of splendid services of the gallant men who joined up and were spared to return their work.
