Colliery Accident.

Fred Turner, a miner, residing at Concrete, met with a serious accident at the Cortonwood Colliery on Monday. There was a “burst,” and a quantity of coal fell from the coal face, and pinned him against a prop.

He was released and conveyed with all speed in the colliery ambulance to the Beckett Hospital.
