Church Lad’s Brigade Camp at Rhyl

From the L.M.S. station at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning the 1st Sheffield Battalion Church Lad’s Brigade, will leave for camp at Rhyl.

This battalion includes companies from Denaby, Woodlands, Rossington, Brampton, Stainforth, Thurnscoe, Hoyland and Wombwell, arrangements having been made for the companies to be assembled at Wombwell.

At Sheffield the battalion, numbering 150, will be joined by the other contingents and leave the city at 2-57 for camp. A delightful site has been secured at Rhyl quite close to the sea and the town.

The camp staff are as follows: Commanding officer Lieut.-Col. C. W .Tabor; Adjutant Capt. W. J. H. Myers; Chaplain Rev. G. H. Wheeler, Thurnscoe; Medical Officer: Dr W. R. Dickinson Quartermaster Capt. R.W. Pilkington; Second in command: Commander F. Singleton.
