Christopher at his Easel

Christopher Barker (seven) of Barnsley Road, Wombwell, who has had a painting accepted for a National Exhibition to be held at the Royal Institute Galleries, London is here seen at work at his easel at Barnsley Road Infants School, Wombwell.

Thrilled at his success Christopher is now busy on more painting.

Also in the picture is his teacher Mrs D J Bartram, who submitted Christopher’s entry in the national competition.

Mrs Bartram has been invited to attend a private viewing of the exhibition, which will afterwards go to at a number of municipal art galleries throughout Great Britain
