With the “blood” soaking through her bandages and a walking stick to help her hobble along. ten-years-old Jill Bailey, of 22, Wilson Street, Wombwell, looks a very realistic “’Arry Accident” at the Yorkshire Miners’ Demonstration at Pontefract on Saturday.

Jill’s get-up won her the “best in show” in the fancy dress competition.
