Henry Moorhouse, trammer, Wombwell, and Ernest Fisher, screen-hand, Darfield, both 20 years of age, were each fined 40s. and costs at  Barnsley West Riding magistrates, yesterday, for having assaulted Ruby May Cooper (16), of Hoyland.

The charge had been reduced from one of indecent assault.

Defendants denied the charge.
