An Offer To Wombwell Council

The Yorkshire Mineworkers* Association have written tho Wombwell Urban Council offering to sell them Project Farm, with a frontage to High street, Wombwell.

A deputation has been appointed by the Council to inspect the farm.

Prospect Farm was purchased the Yorkshire Mine Workers’ Association shortly before the stoppage of last year. It is understood that the original intention was to erect a miners’ institute on the site.

The property has remained untenanted since the purchase.
