Wood Bros Footballers

Formerly members of the cricket and football teams attached to Wood Bros. Glassworks, Wombwell, the brothers Arnold de Staines (24) and Roy de Staines (21), are now with the Forces.

They are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leon de Staines of 16, Pickup Crescent, Wombwell. The brothers joined up a year ago.

Roy was a stretcher bearer in the A.R.P. organisation at Wombwell. Arnold attended John Street Council School and Wombwell Modern School; Roy was also at John Street.
