Butcher Becomes Air Gunner

Serving in the R.A.F. and enjoying the life is Sergt. Harold Oxspring Lowbridge, of Tingle Bridge, Hemingfield.

He volunteered two Years ago, and has recently qualified as Sergt. Air Gunner and Navigator.

He is an old boy of Hemingfield Church School, and was employed by Barnsley Co-operative Society as a butcher at Wombwell.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowbridge.
