A Wombwell Engagement

The engagement is announced of two popular members of the Wombwell and District Amateur Operatic Society. They are Miss Dorothy Swann, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Swann, of 11. New Street, Wombwell, and grand-daughter of Mrs. Silverwood and the late Mr. Joss Silverwood, who was an official at Mitchell and Darfield Main Colliery for many years, and also captain of the Mitchell Main Cricket Club:

to Mr. Jack Leach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Leach of Hough Lane. Wombwell,

Mr. Leach is the grandson of Mr. Jack Williams, who was also an official At Mitchell Main and a prominent Wombwell Methodist.
