Murderous Assault Near Broomhill

The injured woman, Mrs. Fish who on Friday evening was the victim of an outrageous assault by the man Holmfield on the canal path between Broomhill and Wath, was progressing favourably yesterday.

On Sunday Dr. Jones, who is in attendance, feared the supervention of tetanus.

Holmfield is a ticket-of-leave man.

He has been out of prison about 11 weeks, having been serving term of five years penal servitude for rape.
