Betting House.

James Orritt (48), bookmaker, of 62, Knollbeck Lane, Brampton Bierlow, was fined £10 at Rotherham West Riding Court on Monday, for having on July 18th, used his house as a place for ready money betting. He had six previous convictions.

P.c. Daly said he searched the house on July 18th and found 13 4s. 3d. in cash, and betting material. Orritt said “I am not doing much work now, and am only racing once a week.”
