Lincoln City Reserves 4 Wombwell 4
Lincoln City Reserves and Wombwell drew 4—4 on the Sincil Bank ground last evening.
Wombwell were the more aggressive side in the first half, and the interval led by 2-1, the City’s goal coming in the last minute of the half.
In the second half the exchanges were very lively, first Lincoln and then Wombwell taking the lead, for the scores to levelled again, and both goalkeepers being frequently troubled.
For Lincoln, Keating (2), Maidment, and Osgerby scored; and for Wombwell, G. Smith and Bradford each netted twice. There were about 3,000 spectators.
