Police Court Briefs
Joseph Stinson (35), miner, of Brampton Bierlow, was fined 7s. 6d. at Rotherham on Monday for having been drunk and disorderly at Brampton Bierlow on May 5th.
Jack Harper (22), miner, West Melton, was fined 5s. for not having his name and address on his dog’s collar on May 8th.
For having kept a dog without a licence on May 8th, James Harvey (24), labourer, of Wombwell, was fined 15s.
For a similar offence at Wentworth Road, Brampton Bierlow, on May 9th, Edward Bailey (45), butcher, of Brampton Bierlow, was fined 15s.
The following fines were imposed at Doncaster on Tuesday: Geo Frederick Cole, miner, Conisbrough, 9s. for cycle without reflector; Alwyn Belk, farmer, Maltby, costs for failing to conform with the Mexborough traffic signals; Wm. Emerson Kirk, motor driver, Bolton-on-Dearne, 20s. for lorry tail light out; Geo Wm. Noble, miner, Denaby, 15s.; and Austin Gardner and Kenneth Fraser, Goldthorpe, pit hands, 9s. each, for railway trespass.
