Teams representing the above played a game at Mexborough yesterday, on behalf of the glass bottle hands now on strike. About 300 persons were present.

The teams appeared very evenly matched, and at half-time each side had scored three goals.

Afterwards Mexborough scored twice, through Bennett junior and Hunt, and won by five goals to three.
