A Coming of Age
The presentation, on Monday, by the staff of the Wombwell Main Colliery, of a gold wristlet watch to Mr. Peter Geoffrey Roberts, only son of Sir Samuel Roberts, M.P., chairman of the Wombwell Main Colliery, in celebration of his coming-of-age.
The photograph shows Mr. G. Snell, general manager and director of the colliery, making the presentation to Mr. Peter Roberts. In the centre, seated, is Susan, Lady Roberts, grandmother of the recipient, and on the left, Mr. Eric Roberts, uncle, and Sir Samuel Robets, M.P., father.
