Wombwell Man’s Pictures

L.A/c. Harold Hunsley (21), son of Mr. and Mrs, George Hunsley, of 67, Tickhill Road, Maltby, formerly of Orchard Street, Wombwell, is finding work to his liking in the special photography branch of the R.A.F.

He is in the Middle East, and has just sent home publications containing copies of his prints. One is a Middle East monthly circulated among serving men and another is the official publication of a photographic society of which King Farouk is patron. All have been chosen for their special merit as revealing trained observation and perspective.

Hunsley was formerly a member of the Sunday School at Wombwell Parish Church, and a prize winning singer with Miss Pattie Washington’s choir. He has been serving in the R.A.F. since1938. His brother Colin (26), is in the Army in the Middle East, and not long ago the two had the pleasure of taking seven days’ holiday together.
