Insufficient Warning
John Wm. Thompson miner, of Wombwell was charged with having ridden a bicycle and not having given audible or sufficient warning of his approach, on Saturday, the 24th May.
The defendant was seen by P.c. Naylor, riding a bicycle down High Street, Wombwell He had neither bell nor whistle and and he ran into a man and knocked him down.
Thompson, who pleaded guilty, was fined 5s and costs.
