Wedding – North & Marshall
Miss Ethel North youngest daughter of Mr. James North, of 53 Milton Street. Wombwell, and the late Mrs. North, was married at Wombwell Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. Walter Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Marshall, of the Post Office, Broomhill.
Given away by her brother, Mr. William North, the bride wore a gown of white satin with Victorian collar and train. Her veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried carnations.
Bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen and Miss Doris North, in mauve dresses, and Mary Marshall (7) in a yellow dress. The page was Neville Timmins (9). Best man was Mr. G. Fisher and the groomsman Mr. James North.
