On Saturday at Darfield Parish Church, the wedding took place of Miss Elizabeth Ennis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ennis, Pitt Street, Low Valley, and Mr. Joe Betts, Pickup Crescent, Wombwell.
The bride was given away by her father and wore peacock blue silk with beige trimmings, and carried tulips and pink carnations.
The maids, Miss Gladys Betts and Muriel Lackey, wore floral silk and green satin respectively with black straw bats.
Mr. Jack Ennis was best man and Mr. Fred Lackey groomsman.
